What made Aaliyah beautiful was her sweet, genuine caring heart & her old soul. It shined through her glass beauty. She was sweet. She cared deeply. The most attractive quality on any woman is how deeply she can care about life, nature, the universe, the stars, people, animals & everything.

This is why Aaliyah was a light, to women, letting them know, you don’t have to have to be without flaws to be beautiful.

You don’t have to have blemish-less skin, huge-unsagging breasts, hourglass figure, perfect bubble butt, washboard abs, small-narrow nose, or the longest hair to be attractive. You can be your happy, shy, imperfect self & still be radiant with beauty.

The theory that Aaliyah was not as good of an artist, compared to her contemporaries, simply because her vocal range was not as elaborate, is a simple minded idea.

One does not create their OWN talent skills, no more than one creates their own physical features. Height, curves, or color, you have no control over tangible gifts you posses.

The ‪#‎Aaliyah‬ biopic could have focused on this, but instead, they disrespected her family & their pleas for the film not to be made, as well as her bandmates & legacy in hopes of financial gain.

The media hates women. They make them feel they have to be perfect in every way just to attract a man.

This film could have helped combat that. Helped bring light to the spiritual abuse of pedaphiles sexually targeting teenage girls Lifetime dropped the ball & missed an opportunity to use Aaliyah’s life as a way to inspire young girls to be their self & accept their flaws.
