She’s not afraid to trust another man. No. She’s afraid to trust herself. Try to understand, she’s always been so smart. So ambitious. Chased by all the guys. So, when she chose to overlook the red flags & trust you, it took her by surprise. Look deep in her eyes, realize she sees the good in everyone else. You can’t fool a loyal woman by playing a role. She knows if you have side chicks. She knows if you’re relationship ready. She can meet a man & know what he wants after the first conversation. Her problem is, she put all she wanted on hold for your potential. Your flaws are not a bad thing baby. Your trust issues are not a deal breaker to me. I can not save you, fix you or repair you. How do you even repair a work of art? But only that beautiful spirit in your mirror can heal you. She is powerful. She is unstoppable. She is not some little girl in need of a man to save her. She is her own salvation.

A woman’s love is strong enough to eclipse fears, like a full moon. To rumble away any self-doubt, like an earthquake. To wipe away the stressful stains of past pain, like a thundering tornado. A woman’s love is the cure to your trust issues, so use a woman’s love on the woman in your mirror. Love you more than life, because I love you more than life.

I love you more than football sundays & fresh-cut fridays. I love you more than you love Netflix binge marathons & bottomless mimosas. You know you give me baby fever? Not merely wanting to raise a child with you, but wanting to intrinsically give birth to a thought with you. A thought that no matter what stress, fears, pain & frustration we endure, we will always have each other to depend on & lean on, forever more. #EbrahimAseem

You are the ONLY woman I want to laugh with, struggle with, succeed with, vacation with. Horseback riding & clear-water diving. You are the ONLY woman I want to introduce to my family. Cook-outs & electric slides at our wedding reception with you as my bride. #EbrahimAseem

You are the ONLY woman I want to dive deep inside. Come home from work & vent to me about your day, then I’ll flip you over, throw you in that bed & pound all your stress away. Wrap my arms around your hips, & pound that stress right out of you, then clean up any mess I made with my lips. Because you are the ONLY woman I want to taste. There are painful memories that haunt your over-thinking mind I’d love to erase. #EbrahimAseem

I know you have regrets & anxieties that keep you up at night. Lay all those burdens on my shoulders & watch me carry them out of your sight. I will destroy your wall with all of my might. Your demons I will fight. Love letters on all the pages of your mind my lips will write. You are the greatest blessing I’ve ever had in my life.
